Taiwan Day 2 (8th april 2009)
We were still at taipei, xi men ting. so the second day we decided to play around the train stations and find the places of interest mentioned in the tourist book.
we went to this taipei dancing museum. there wasn't much stuff inside actually so i am also not sure how come this is considered a must go place of interest. except for the only fun thing inside.inside this room there was many many fans with alot of dry pink leaves on the floor. quite fun leh!after which we went separate ways. cos charlotte and christina were going to clubbing at night. their sushi is damn cheap! and very nice also.then i went with jiejie to taipei 101.the green tea freshly produced mochi. different from the ones that we brought back. this is so much nicer but can only last for a day so cannot bring back also. i can never have enough of it!
then we walked around wu fen pu where they have clothes shops like our bugis street. and had our dinner at this very nice place.
next we went to shilin nightmarket for more food! been eating non stop!
see how big piece the chicken chop is?!!!!! really the size of my face can! haha. the other half is hiding in the plastic bag.
oyster omelette. it is different from singapore's. theirs is more sticky and have sauce over it.
smelly tofu!
curry fishballs. but not nice one. i think they boil it in the curry sauce for too long. hard hard.
cold noodles.
look at the temperature that day!

i need alot of rest. my whole body is aching. and my brain is aching too. i got lots of things that i need and want to do. but there is not much free time for me. need to go for medical check up, to rent the graduation gown, need to pass my friends the taiwan stuff that i bought for them, want to go visit grandma, want to bring mummy out for some shopping, need to buy some new clothes, need to buy present for mother's day. not sure if i mentioned all what i have to do. i think there should be more. at the moment my mind is blank cannot think much. all i know is if i can sleep somemore i will be happier. haha!
Growing up is part and parcel of life. I don't really dislike it neither do i like it a lot. When you grow older, there is a lot of responsibility that you will have to hold for yourself. Like going to job interview all by yourself under the super nervous condition, thinking whether it is appropriate to say all those things which you think is right and lastly when you are financially independent you no longer can be last like time; take pocket money from parents. now in turn will be our turn to give allowances to our parents. i am not saying i don't want or refuse to give them money. i need some time to adjust to it.
i want to make them happy too. bring them out for good meals occasionally. actually i do like the feeling of making people happy by either buying the things that they want for them or giving them a mini surprise. it is a nice feeling actually.
had home brewed chrysanthemum tea and finally home cooked lunch just now by my dearest mummy and i am happy.
bathing in another ten minutes time to prepare for work later.
i miss talking to all my friends!

Taiwan Day 1 (7th april 2009)
the plane flight was at 1.50pm. checked in at around 12 plus so we walked around the airport and ate some food and familarised with each other. cos i didn't know jiejie's friend, charlotte and charlotte's friend christina. and jiejie didn't know christina too. i was still quite shy cos i don't know how to talk to people that i hardly know. but as time goes, it gets better. :)
reached tao yuan international airport at around 7pm at night. all of us were starving so badly cos the food on the plane was so horribly expensive. 5 bucks for a cup of instant noodles can!
didn't have much time to go around and see cos it was already late. and the weather was so COLD! around 18 degree celcius. and just look at the pictures and see what i am wearing. can imagine how cold i will feel.
so pretty. the view outside the plane. that's why i prefer to sit near the window.
tao yuan international airport.
the mrt station near our hotel. Xi men Ting.
this is the warm and hyper charlotte!
had our dinner at this place called 鸭肉扁 which was recommended in the tourist book. the duck meat was quite nice. juicy and well marinated. one thing is they should cook it more tender so we can bite more easily. old already teeth not strong okay! this is the famous ah zong mian xian there! damn nice. very different from singapore's one. they add pig intestine instead of oyster.
me, charlotte and christina.
jiejie and me.
they have a 24hour carrerfour. so shiok right need/want what also can get.
and we saw this really huge watermelon! and it is super cheap can. cures constipation also. hahaha.
to be continued another time. my eyelid is getting heavy.

17th april 2009 (ah qiao's 21st birthday!)
was damn tired cos just came back from taiwan on the 16th and i slept at around two plus three to pack all my dirty clothing and the gifts that i brought back for people. i like to finish things properly before i go to sleep. so i can sleep more comfortably without having to think that the next day i have a huge mess to clear.
so on the 17th, meet up with ah qiao and her friend to buy some food for the mini party. bought sushi, drinks and took the birthday cake. and she also called kfc and pizza hut too. i think there were too much food cos in the end she still had to carry the remaining leftover home. and she have no choice but to take cab cos it was heavy and it was late already.
she booked two rooms at the karaoke place. one for her secondary school friends and one for us. but a pity is most of the us don't sing with MIC except maybe for me and xia lah. hahaha. since she only booked both rooms for three hours. the time passes quite fast. and it was time for everyone to crowd inside the big room to sing her the birthday song. and oh we looked through the video that manting made. it was so funny looking at yourself talking inside the video. end up laughing and laughing. so damn funny lo.
after that we went home while she left with her secondary school friends for second round of fun.
her super hard to cut cake. cos the swensen didn't provide knife! her friends went to the western stall below to borrow a metal knife. eat until so cham.
amanda where are you?! the group photo before all of us went home.
i need to go prepare some stuff for tml's interview. and my usb drive where i kept a lot of my photos and document inside is now faulty. damn it. it was still okay yesterday when i used it. hope repairing will make it okay. :'(
