The once a year chinese new year!
Chinese New year Eve (25th Jan 2009)
waited for jiejie to finish work then come back for reunion dinner. so in between ate mummy's homecooked curry chicken and some new year goodies to tahan until 7pm. after dinner went to chinatown wanting to grab some last minute cheap jellies. but in the end the price was still the same. and the parking lot is so damn hard to find. even when we went there by motorcycle.
quite some time since i ate abalone. very happy and satisfied. heh.

Chinese New Year Day One (26th Jan 2009)
more steamboat at ah ma's house. hers is the traditional type which uses charcoal.
playing cards with cousins. and my that position is so unlucky! i keep on losing money. and this year we play like 50 cents per game instead of last year 10cent per game. hahaha. so if win, win a lot. lose also lose a lot.

grandma was so busy with her mahjong the whole day. then when she was free i asked her to take a photo with us. then she give me many excuses. but in the end she still got take a photo with us.
the conversation was like this (in hokkien):
ME: Ah-ma come and take photo with us leh.
Ah-Ma: Don't want la. my hair very messy and i very old already don't wanna take with you all young people.
ME: Take la. chinese new year only once every year.
Ah-Ma: but my clothes not nice leh. i go change. then after 5 seconds say dun wanna take with us.

Chinese New Year Day 2 (27th Jan 2009)
watched the wedding game with mummy and eileen. our normal routine for chinese new year is we MUST watch movie on the second day. it has became a habit. the movie was not very funny leh but still not bad.
tml i need to start to do the presentation slides for pdm, wrap my pdm logbook. read up on csas interview questions, tidy up my portfolio for csas. so many things. fan ah!

today from 9.45am to 6.30pm was on major project and major project and still on major project. we only got an hour break out of the many hours we worked on major project. someone please save us!
tml i need to buy cake for feimei and daddy. i went around my neighbourhood to search for cake shop but all was closed. haiyo. tml i have to early early go see if there is any place selling a cake cos i promised them i will buy it. should have orderd it earlier. forgot it with all the overwhelming workload.
besides cake, i still need to buy plastic to wrap the logbook and also a bottle for my mock up. but all the bottles look the same leh but teacher still say need to be different packaging. how confusing.
tml must get some work done before i go siew li's house bai nian!

Days passes so fast man! i was looking at the date just now and i realised that tml is my father's birthday and the day after tml is my feimei's birthday. guess i am too occupied with schoolwork that i didn't even have time to realise that. how horrible. i even overslept all the way until chinese garden station today and i still thought i reached jurong east. how funny.

MIND'S CAFE!
24th Jan 2009
went to mind's cafe with siying, jq, siew li and michael on saturday. it was our first time playing the games together there. the other time we went, we only went there to chit chat and eat. it was such a pity that i could only meet them for 2 hours only cos had to go off early first cos i had driving lesson at the bbdc circuit the other day. but the screaming and banging on the table when we played the "ugly doll" was very fun! haha. they claimed that my voice was the loudest screaming. where got la. heh.

they have this set combo which consists of: one dessert/ side dish, one cup of beverage, one munchies and 2 hours of board games for 12+ bucks. quite worth it la.
out of so many games, we only played three. i wanna go there again!

after no school for 6 days, tml is a school day again. all the deadlines for reports, presentations, interview are all going to come at one go. save meeeee!

Feimei's birthday chalet (19th jan to 22 jan)

jiejie came over to fetch me from century square. i spent one hour alone sticking all the stuff into the pdm practical journal. felt so guilty that i made my logbook have the milo stain. haiya, i still like my book to be clean! sigh. we bought some stuff from ntuc cos that feimei keep on saying that the food is not enough. bought the stuff before we went back to the chalet. wanted to buy a cake at first but jie's motorbike not enough space. went to the chalet and saw feimei's friends. didn't know them well so i just walked around and eat my food and watch tv.

we had so many many many chicken wings that day.
so sad. i still have to study for my test during the chalet.
amazingly, feimei made me supper that night. but it was a little salty miss your eggs especially.
ended my night with my eyes half open reading the fsm notes and listening to my favourite music on jie's laptop before washing up to sleep.
21th jan 2009
the first time that i can sleep until 7am despite having my first lesson of the day at 9am. i need to wake up at 5.45am if i was at home. haha. first and the last time. cos going to graduate soon. dun think i will have any more chalet before graduation.

at night when i came,mummy was already bbqing the food and most of eileen's friends left. only two of them still there. wai po, ah yi and uncle came. they cooked the food for me cos i was busy studying for fsm test and preparing for my pdm sensory forms.

it's chinese new year eve today! looking forward to the my favourite steamboat reunion dinner later when jiejie finishes her work at 7pm. if time permits, i wanna go buy somemore big bags of jelly home. i am finishing what i bought the other day. i am really so lazy to start on my major project report. i shall be good and do a little then. if not i will suffer next week.

ZHIFENG'S 2oth BIRTHDAY
was so busy this week. this week was zhifeng's birthday, csas mock interview, there was an fsm quiz, had to rush for the practical journal for pdm handed up on wednesday, eileen's birthday chalet, rushing for the fsm laboratory report which we have to send to our leader by saturday night and there is more stuff to be done by next week also. sigh. chinese new year is coming and there is still so much school work to be done. so irritating. luckily fsm report is almost 3/4 done can complete before new year's eve.
anyway for zhifeng's birthday, we wanted to go eat hotpot culture initally but then it was quite expensive(we have to be considerate towards the poor people like ah qiao. haha.) and quite far cos we have to travel from school to there. then we settled for ajisen. actually ajisen also nothing special but the birthday girl wanted to eat so there we go. so ya.

after dinner we continued sitting inside ajisen for a little while longer and chatted to kill time cos it wasn't that dark. If it is not dark, it will not be fun to plan the suprise for her.

that zhifeng is so stubborn. she refused to let us blindfold her while we prepared the surprise for her. then end up she pull here pull there with xia lah until her shoes spoil still dun wanna let us blindfold her. so wet blanket. but we still continued la just that she dun have to be blindfolded.
