Fsm Pre trial lab
had to reach school early in the morning at 7.30am. so no choice, i had to wake up at 4.15am that day to prepare for school. then need to catch the first train at 5.45am. damn early can. going out of the house when it is not even bright. i only saw the sun when i reached tampines.

mummy took the train with me. i also dun noe why she go to work so early. hahahah.
ingredients for the sweet and sour fish sauce.

our broccoli with mushroom, carrot. i think we overcook it too long le that's why the colour not so nice.
our dry version of tang yuan (rolled in grated peanuts). i like this!
tadah! our final chinese style set meal. :) i think some improvements still need to be made before we sell it at the school bistro cafe. need to change siew mai to another appetizer cos it is very hard to control the steaming. and the skin came out to be quite hard.
later at evening time going to west mall:
- to meet siew li for dinner
- to buy hamster's food
- to return library book
- to buy kimchi
off to watch some drama before i prepare to go out. i seriously need to get started to study soon. left only 9 days to term test. argh.

Sleeping so soundly...
time flies. hamster french has already been with us for a year. and she still frequently bit her cage until it goes rusty once in a while. she likes eating gardenia bread, the cookies and the cakes that i baked. what a weird hamster. and the other day she just swallowed a piece of tissue paper down. hahaha. luckily nothing happened to her. :) she looks cuter when she is sleeping and standing near her "door" waiting for me to feed her some starchy and soft bread. hehe. i love hamster french very much! :D

CUTE CAKES FROM A BAKING BOOK :)
was at the library after driving lesson yesterday and as usual i was finding books on baking and chinese novel when this book caught my eye. it is a cake making book for kids. so cute and colourful! the base is actually butter cake and then the hardest part is the decoration ba. next time shall try it when i am free.
and next month is siew li's birthday and i promised to bake one black forest cake for her too. cos i made one fruit cake for siying for her birthday already. but i haven tried making it before so i have to try to make one time before i make the actual one for her so it wouldn't turn out that bad. ya next weekend i will try. shall go find one suitable recipe first.
went to the dental just now. i hate going to the dental. the dentist makes my teeth bleed so much when he is cleaning for me. 15 minutes seems like forever for me! but at least it is twice a year so not so bad. and he ask me to go remove my two wisdom teeth at the hospital but i am scared of the pain so i shall see how then.
fsm test push back until tml then test and till now the information is not yet fully absorbed in my mind. but let me watch one more episode of drama before i start studying. hehehehe

TP BISTRO WALK HIGH TEA
okay, as usual every weekend there is tons of homework to be done. so i have to be trapped at home the whole afternoon doing my homework. then i will go for my weekly driving lesson at 6.30pm later and off to the library to return and borrow some books. some already overdue for a week! oh ya and maybe develop some photos too. there is a lot that i want to develop.
this week was so busy with school work that i didn't get much sleep on the weekdays. but when i slept for 9 hours today i woke up feeling giddy. sleep too much also cannot sleep too little also cannot then how? haha. actually was supposed to meet siew li for dinner on wednesday but because have to figure out and do the fsm software thing so couldn't meet her. what a pity, i haven seen her for 3 weeks already. maybe next week when she comes back from malaysia ba.
okay la off to do some work before i laze around to watch some drama. heh.

the six samples that we rushed to pass to andrea ng for the company to test.
after finishing this i shall call amanda the super weighing woman. cos she can like weigh six samples in quite a short amount of time without the help of xia lah and me. haha.
yesterday i slept for 3 and a 1/2 hour because of the fsm software programme. in the end we figured it out late so when we went home to do there wasn't much time left either. but luckily still managed to finish it in time cos it is assessed! and the mini tutorial quiz today is so hard even though it is only mcqs.
how come i dun feel so stress in year one and two. now that it is the last semster already, i am feeling stress that sometimes i dun have appetite to eat my breakfast. but stress gives motivation! :)
actually it is quite nice to have people accompany you take train home from school. just like last week, i took the train with su sien and bryan on separate days. then today after dinner at century square, took train home with xia lah and bryan. so the whole journey i talked to them a lot even though i was feeling tired cos bryan is very spontaneous with his never ending topics to talk at. haha.
tml is the doing of major project shelf life in the morning then the buying of manting's birthday present!

the three of us together with two more year one students were in charge of teaching the students how to use the microscope to see the size of the starch granules of corn, potato and glutinous starch.
actually we kind of forget how to use le so last minute learn again from miss andrea ng first before the batches of secondary school students came in. it was quite fun actually just that there were some times when we had some problems with the microscope and cannot see anything but that was the last batch of students when it happened.

the mph bookfair at expo.
was briefly looking through all the books when i saw the children books and suddenly got attracted to it. suddenly i like winne the pooh. so cute!
and this "handphone" book. i used it to call xia lah and it went through suprisingly. i think people must have thought i am mad when they see me talking to it. haha.
expo has this purplish christmas tree. is purple the fashion now?
my pathetic dinner cos nobody is at home today.
the watermelon soya milk that i tried the other day. damn refreshing lo.
so fast it is already the end of the fourth week of school reopen le. getting busier and busier with school work. next week got test. then got tp rawks. then need to do shelf life for major project. then fsm homework. fsm proposal. so many things to do.
i want to go fun places and relax. like zoo, jurong bird park and nice nice places for buffet. got no time and also not much money to go also. sometimes it is also hard to find people free to accompany me on weekends to go those places too. so ya i will find entertainment for myself then.
last week the brownie that i baked failed. so maybe this week i going to try the carrot bun recipe if i am free on sunday. hehe.
tata. feimei bought supper home. i am not alone at home now. finally!

Sensory Evaluation for MP!
today was a long day at school. woke up at 4.45am to prepare for school cos there was fsm recipe discussion in the morning at 8am. didn't get much sleep either cos i was literally tossing in the bed the whole night. and the recipes that we finally chose are most of my favourites! heh.
then after meeting miss chan for the finalization of the recipes, went to proceed to do the samples needed for the sensory evaluation later on. couldn't handle it cos amanda was away for her fsm project discussion so me and xia lah had to struggle to finish most of the stuff by ourselves. and the worst thing is that when we wanted to blend the first batch of the samples provided, half of the thing like spilled out. cos some inconsiderate people still place the spoiled blender there then we never really realised that it is severely cracked then we still continued using. luckily still got alot of it left. HENG ah! but there goes my labcoat and my one day old watch. =(
actually was quite afraid that we may not be able to find a lot of panelist cos our product is the salad dressing which means is dressing with a carrier, vegetables only. not much people like vegetables ba. i think. haha.
but all thanks to manting! she helped us find quite a lot of panelists! THANKS MAN MAN! :):)
then went to ntuc to check out the costs of the ingredients that we planned to cook for the fsm practical. and went home with a drained body.
and the worst worst thing is when my dad on the tv just now, it appeared differently. instead of getting nice and clear images, now i can only see the images in shades of purple and red. how sad it is for a tv lover like me.
school tml at 8.30am. got to wake up at 5am again. so now got to go search on the fsm software again! tata.
