Chinese New year Eve (25th Jan 2009)

waited for jiejie to finish work then come back for reunion dinner. so in between ate mummy's homecooked curry chicken and some new year goodies to tahan until 7pm. after dinner went to chinatown wanting to grab some last minute cheap jellies. but in the end the price was still the same. and the parking lot is so damn hard to find. even when we went there by motorcycle.

quite some time since i ate abalone. very happy and satisfied. heh.i love steamboats!

Chinese New Year Day One (26th Jan 2009)

more steamboat at ah ma's house. hers is the traditional type which uses charcoal.playing cards with cousins. and my that position is so unlucky! i keep on losing money. and this year we play like 50 cents per game instead of last year 10cent per game. hahaha. so if win, win a lot. lose also lose a lot.my beloved sisters. :)they dun wanna let me take photos of them leh. grandma was so busy with her mahjong the whole day. then when she was free i asked her to take a photo with us. then she give me many excuses. but in the end she still got take a photo with us.

the conversation was like this (in hokkien):

ME: Ah-ma come and take photo with us leh.

Ah-Ma: Don't want la. my hair very messy and i very old already don't wanna take with you all young people.

ME: Take la. chinese new year only once every year.

Ah-Ma: but my clothes not nice leh. i go change. then after 5 seconds say dun wanna take with us.

after 10 minutes of persuasion. tadah. we got this photo!

dun worry ah ma, to me you still look nice. :)somemore food for dinner at granny's house but didn't eat it cos was about to leave to go to ah yi's house for dinner. at ah yi's house with mummy.

our own mini gambling at home. i win more at home than at ah ma's house. how weird. heh.

Chinese New Year Day 2 (27th Jan 2009)

watched the wedding game with mummy and eileen. our normal routine for chinese new year is we MUST watch movie on the second day. it has became a habit. the movie was not very funny leh but still not bad.

tml i need to start to do the presentation slides for pdm, wrap my pdm logbook. read up on csas interview questions, tidy up my portfolio for csas. so many things. fan ah!
