A Day Out With Grandma & Sisters

went out with grandma, eileen and jiejie for dim sum at vivocity yesterday. went over at 11.45am to ah ma's house first then took cab to vivocity after sitting at her house until 12.45pm. then the cab driver like purposely take the long route to vivocity. actually there is one straight route which we take can reach very fast one then he drove one round then we reach. so irritated. but anyway, we came to this chinese restaurant to eat. i forget what is the name le. i think it is something like: "Imperior XX XX XX restaurant". Forgot the name le. but i think the dim sum down there is real great. the prices is reasonable too. we eat ala carte and end up 50+ bucks for 4 person.

their dim sum is only available from 11am to 2.15pm. just nice the timing when we stepped out of the place.

grandma and the fried rice we order for her. suprisingly, her appetite was super good that day. so happy to see that. she eat almost every dish that we ordered and said all was nice.

ah ma's fried rice. i think it was okay but she thinks it is nice.

i like this chicken feets. amazingly feimei who never really eat chicken feets usually also likes it!

then after lunch, we went to grandma's favourite place to shop. DAISO! also my favourite place la. then eileen paid for the things bought. hehe. as usual my cute grandma who said she dun have anything to buy bought her favourite household stuff home again. haha. same old pattern. then went to giant after that to buy some grocery and ice cream! took cab back to ah ma's house then we waited for jiejie's friend to come and fetch us. then went west mall for dinner @ subway before we went home.

i miss grandpa & the pig trotter in vinegar that he always cooked last time. grandma promised to cook for me the next time i go visit her. and she says hers will be the same standard as grandpa's. i believe so. can't wait for that!
