BBQ with family on saturday. but there was only me, jiejie and mummy. cos daddy went to malaysia and eileen got attachment work at the expo watson sale. so ya too bad just the three of us but despite that it was still fun and warm. Simple yet heart warming. just like sometimes when we go out with friends it is not the quantity that matters, it is the quality that counts. :)

the bbq was at sembawang park. the pit was smaller than the one at east coast. no wonder it is also cheaper.

the wind was too strong that day and had difficulty starting up the fire the first time. but a basket saved us on the second time! haha. jiejie went to her friend's house and got some uncooked food and haagen diazs ice cream and some fire starter because we used up all the fire starter during the first time but the fire didn't start.

the cheap basket from vietnam. and mom is smart to bring a candle. so we lit the candle inside the basket which is like basically wind-less then we slowly lit the fire starter.

mummy is basically the type: wait-for-children-to-cook-for-her-type. haha.

we ate this first while waiting for jiejie to be back from friend's house.

jiejie's friend came to drove us home at around 9.30pm that night. next time we shall have a picnic instead of bbq! then each of us have to prepare one dish that will be more meaningful. so mom cannot slack. heh.

later got to go out to buy the container to hold the nuggets and sotong balls for tml chalet. and ya not forgetting some of our favourite green and red peppers!
