after reunion dinner, went with jiejie to vivocity first to buy some stuff. she wanted to go watson but in the end it wasn't open so we bought some stuff at Giant then we went to chinatown. looked for a while before finding a place to park her motorcycle. actually our main purpose there is to buy those taiwan jelly and want to find some cheap stall. in the end we bought 4kg= $20 worth of jelly cos it is buy one kg get one kg free one. wanted to help mom buy melon seeds but cannot find cheap one. our favourite jelly. ate too much yesterday and i got my stomach bloated. haha.

First Day of chinese new year

my breakfast for that day. home-cooked curry chicken and a little burnt nian gao by mama.
that feimei help me do my eyelashes and keep on complaining how come my one so long. but i think i only make it once and that's it. the mascara is so hard to remove completely.

food at ah ma's house. actually there are a few more dishes but i was too hungry and forgot to take it. got mixed vegetables and stewed mushroom. i love ah ma's pig intestine soup and wu xiang and curry chicken!

this year chinese new year is really weird without grandpa around. there is no one to nag at us when we are too noisy. and he is not there to warmly welcome us when we arrive. i miss him alot.
