纯阳的二十三岁生日！

应该早一点放照片上来可是懒惰嘛！亲爱的生日是在七月二十八号。不过他们喜欢庆祝华人生日的所以每年我都要看日历才会懂他的生日了。不过每年都不一样还不错啦！今年花了大概两个月的时间弄了一个小相册给他。他应该还蛮喜欢的！呵呵！弄了个草莓蛋糕给他！第一次弄应该还可以吧！味道不错只是可能外表没有那么漂亮吧！下次再进步！呵呵！那天看了场电影！那天还吃了顿火锅！不过吃了肚子就跟我闹脾气！拉肚子了！可能东西不干净吧！

我最近发现了，有些人不像你想象的那样好。该怎么形容呢，总之我不是很喜欢。大家过着彼此不同的生活不要来打搅我的就好了。

Batam trip with colleague in July 2o10

batam 是今年去的第二个地方！第一个地方是和姐姐还有ah qiao还有charlotte去的马六甲！跟同事去的感觉不同！难的可以大家在工作以外的地方一起开兴大笑暂时把一大堆工作的事抛在脑后。很不错的体验！最让我难忘的是那个30分钟的脚底按摩！超超超痒的！害我狂笑了整整30分钟！不过很舒服只是太痒了我恨不得马上结束！不过怎么说都是个新的体验啦！

与其想些有的没的，不如相信只要乐观的面对未来问题一定能慢慢解决的！我们一起努力吧！:)

haha i really have alot of back dated photos to upload but i dun wanna upload all of it at one go. cos it will take up quite some time.

这个星期有个长周末！太开心了！可以好好的休息一下了。昨天我第一次尝试煮了辣椒螃蟹给他吃，看起来还好而已。不过他却说很好吃！听到了真的很开心！然后我们看了几部好看的电影吃了顿简单的晚餐再去御花园走走。很简单的一天，但是我们聊了很多！真的是无话不谈！有时候跟自己心爱的人在一起做什么去哪里都无所谓只要他在你身边就好了！

多五天genting trip！太兴奋了！

可爱的马铃薯！

照片是大概七月头照的！看了一部很可爱很可爱的马铃薯的电影！我们两个都爱！我最喜欢那个左边那个！圆圆的好可爱！

最近发生了很多不开心的事，我也心情不好了一整子。不想再说什么，如果想知道的话就自己来问我吧。不过至少现在还好，我已经恢复像一前一样的开心的我。只是一个人的时候偶尔还是会胡思乱想不过只要你还在我身边我就感到很满足了！看到你没受到什么太大的影响我就放心。

记得不管发生什么事都有我在身边陪你度过！

今天逛街想买点衣服走了好多地方都没看到自己喜欢的。结果半天过了，只买了一条上衣还有个新的包包。也买了条裤子给他。也算满足了！呵呵！

ah ma's 80th birthday!

上个礼拜天本来要去pulau ubin但是天不作美，下雨了！所以就不去了，但是下午时雨就没了！早知道就赌一把去了！真可惜！我们就去图书管看了一部超好笑的电影！还蛮无厘头的看了哈哈大笑压力就没了！希望我们的genting计划可以顺利的进行！:)

昨天跟eileen还有姐姐去ahma 家陪她吃饭。简单的饭菜但是我们吃的很开心！我喜欢这种简单的快乐!

最近工作比较累，很多东西要做。有时又不顺啊！不过今天我买了一双超超可爱的袜子！跟我在台湾买的那只兔子的图案是差不多一样的！让我心情又好了一点点！还买了一双鞋子！我的鞋平均一个月半就坏一双，看来我以后每个月就有机会换新鞋了！！yeah!

有点累了，多半个小时就要睡了！

现在是11.11pm他还没下班到家所以我虽然困了但是不想睡。最近公司的加班都会到很晚！我那天加班都加到10pm！不过至少有他陪我走回家！隔天又要上班弄到我累死了到家什么都不想做只想坐在沙发休息。终于让我盼到周末了！yeah！去吃火锅，去走走，做做蛋糕还有睡多点！

我想我现在变的很知足，以前我会做出无理取闹的要求，现在我更懂的珍惜还有体谅！可能这就是大家说的谈恋爱会让人长大吧！

最近刚买了个烤饼干的书，30块！买了有点小心痛！不过既然是久久买一次我又能够用一辈子呢算是值得了！

那天国庆日的烟火只看到了一点点（被树挡住了！）不过好过没看到！呵呵！

他到家了，先睡了！

Xia lah's 21st birthday celebrations at Teo Heng! haha this is like one and a half months ago now then i got time to upload. been so tired recently. so tired at work. work seems to be piling up and it is like forever also cannot finish. i need a break! i just wanna play play play. so weekends for me are very important. best to treat myself to have a good meal with the people i enjoy being around with. definitely can make me relax and the best thing is they are willing to hear me complain and complain until i am done with it. and the best best thing is that they dun think i am irritating. it is nice to find someone that understands what you are saying and acknowledge your words.

this is like taken early june, can see how backdated i am in updating my blog. very tired at work! almost everyday there are problems inside production. just last week i did OT for four days! i need some time to rest!

did i mention that i like to cook and bake a lot? i like to cook and bake but i do not like to wash the plates, bowls and utensils that i used during the process. weird huh but i do get very happy when people enjoy the food i make! 他说吃了我做的东西，会感觉很幸福！

and i found another muffin&cupcake book inside my cupboard recently. so excited! i am going to try it all out and i found a guinea pig so no worries i still will get my feedback on the taste! going to continue my mini recipe book that i made the other time.

recently made banana muffins, orange muffins, blueberry muffins, chocolate muffins and strawberry muffins! going to try lemon muffins this weekend! :)

Ice-cream!

finally the awaited long weekends are here! but the bad thing is my stomach cramps are here too. so unlucky!

at least got some free time i can get to rest. and jiejie has reached tokyo! temperature there is around 9 degree celcius. i guess she must be freezing down there but at least she can let down her hair and enjoy. this year i definitely must go somewhere overseas if not i will go crazy. haha.

i have no camera now so all photos will be taken using the polariod one. but the flim is expensive, will capture only those special moments till jiejie come back with mr canon. i miss mr canon!!

back to catch some drama before movie and dinner later with primary school friends at night. :)

the sunrise this morning at 7am at east coast park was amazing! the bbq food yesterday was so salty that i keep on drinking tons of water. the weather was cooling and able to rest in a environment so peaceful and calm is definitely heavenly! all thanks to the company yesterday. i enjoyed myself yesterday.

can you imagine swallowing 4 raw eggs for forfeit when playing games. i cannot feel how it tastes but i can imagine it should be horrible!

woohoo!next week is a short week! four day week! lots of stuff i need to do next week!

i love to make people happy! when they smile, it warms my heart too.

今天是星期六，天气凉凉的。我从昨晚的11pm睡到今早的10.30am。太爽了，这就是他常说的睡到自然醒！

今天和妈妈出去走走，去吃点好吃的。买点东西。今天就不和他见面了，因为他还要上班会很累。非常期待明天！终于可以跟他一整天！一个礼拜就那么唯一的一天而已所以我很珍惜！

昨天OT 完下班时刚好下雨，遇到了位我们公司好心的uncle刚好要去送货就顺便送我去地铁站。原来世界上还是有好人的！只不过比较少！

finished ot early today and bought long john silver for dinner. ended up i bought more than i thought we could finish. mummy and eileen nearly fainted when they saw so much fries. hahaha. okay, i over-estimated my stomach.

bought a polaroid camera with jiejie. going to figure out how to use later. so at least i have a camera to use when she takes our mr canon to japan. hehe.

Mini CNY feast at work

and the two of us squeezing in all the left overs into our bloated stomach..

it was really a feast that day. boss and jimmy cooked alot! and i seriously mean is those alot that will make our stomach wanna burst! but the food was nice so i dun mind eating so much once in a while!

got my birthday chalet already. there will be quite some stuff to prepare and plan. i think it is going to be so fun! first time i will get to stayover night with so many people including him! so excited! but i got to anticipate for another two months!

some thoughts were running through my mind. what if one day what i have now goes away unexpectedly, what am i supposed to do when i am already used to the feeling that i feel now? i guess it will be terrible but i dare not think about it. i believe what will come will come. but for now everything is still well at least.

so much fun from sat and sunday, was a little lazy at work today. how come there are more weekdays than weekends?

today i bought a mega mc-spicy meal plus an extra mc-wings thinking that i can finish it with my huge appetite but i only finished the wings and half the burger. i guess i really wasted too much money on food and no more fast food for me! i am sick of it!

the company d&d even though didn't get the top 20 prize, we still have consolation prizes! heh. still not bad. i got a bag while he got 50 bucks robinson vouchers. shall take the voucher and help him buy some useful stuff!

This week went back to work on saturday too. I was paid 1.5x but the money was easy-earned cos i was surfing the net and watching taiwan drama while waiting to take for my half-hourly sample. and he was also at work. so i have someone to accompany me during lunchtime. hehe.

it is nice to have someone that you can worry over, think in your mind and someone who cares about your feelings so much than his own. it is a special feeling which i keep in my heart hoping it will last.

after eating this, the next day i had diarrhoea and vomitted. so does this means that i can't eat seoul garden cos it is too oily for me? i hate it when i eat something i like but fall sick.

my department at work is in a total mess now. people are leaving and new people are coming. the worst thing is the new colleague is someone whom i dun really like that much from the same poly as mine. how am i going to face her and work. i have to try cos i really like the workplace and the people there. not going to let one person affect me totally!

a slight difference in my life from sunday. a totally new experience! i am happy and still adjusting myself to it. :)

so much changes at work recently. the cycle of teaching new colleagues is coming so soon again. no wonder my senior often tell me that to train a newbie is not a fun thing to do. i guess i sort of experienced it hands-on now. and probably more to come in the next few months. what to do? some circumstances are just predictable.

sometimes it is just so funny. when your mind thinks logically, your heart doesn't. but people normally says to follow whatever your heart tells you. i guess i am now. i am contented for now. as for the future, i'll take one step at a time.

31 Dec 2009 till 2nd Jan 2010...(Crossing over to the new year!)

The chalet was definitely memorable. First time we spent our time countdown together in a chalet. First time i slept on the cold floor and couldn't get to sleep. First time we managed to squeeze like 9 people inside the tiny room. First time we had cereal and milk together for breakfast. Shall have another of this type this year. maybe we can book a big hotel this time round! heh.

I had hand-made dumplings and coke-chicken wings on sunday. couldn't say it was very nice but i really really appreciate the effort made by you. couldn't finish all cos i had a stomach upset the day before. however, that day was quite simple and heartwarming.

Batam 2D1N Trip! (28/12/2009 to 29/12/2009)

Batam trip with jiejie was fun. but the place was not so fun. nothing much to see and buy also. but the only thing is the seafood there is cheap and quite fresh! and the hotel that we were staying is also damn good. but one thing i dun like is their currency! why so many zeros behind when actually fact we convert back to singapore dollars is like only a few bucks? but at least it was a exposure to somewhere new that i have never been before.

some people are driving me crazy with their stupid words. but i think i still can tolerate. definitely can.

I finally got myself a new bed after a trip to ikea!

My mom and dad assembled my new bed for me cos the old bed had to be dis-assembled and the ikea person was in such a hurry that he didn't have time to fix it for me. thank you mummy and daddy! :)

Year 2010 is here! and i am back from my chalet!

For the year 2009, lots of significant things has happened. I obtained my diploma certificate. I found my first full time related job. I went on my first overseas trip to taiwan without my parents. I found out who my true friends really were. For the first time in my life, i experienced happiness and surprises which i didn't even expected. To me, every little thing that happened is important and is to be kept inside.

I heard something on my first night of 2010. something which i feel really touched. never expected to hear that.

you gave me hope thinking that it may work out somehow eventually..

A day of walking non stop at orchard...

tomorrow is thursday already! the last day of 2009 to be spent at work and after work with TG at chalet! woohoo! i love chalet where everyone eats alot, laugh a lot and chit chat alot in the middle of the night. we will be having sleep-less nights for 2 days! hehe. anyway the long weekend is here to enjoy and my weekend is fully packed!

today my day at work seems to passed by soooo fast. got to handle a few things that my colleague who went on leave assigned me. after so many days of not working i came back from my batam trip refreshed! totally! i don't even feel tired when i am sick. i guess this is what people always say go on a holiday for a breather, i guess it is true.

will be away for chalet from 31th Dec 2009 to 2nd Jan 2010!

Christmas exchange at marina barage with lovely friends...

it is definitely a good place for picnic with the big big patch of grassland and under the blue blue sky. but one thing i dun like is that the wind is too strong! made all our photos turned out not so nice because of the hair all flying to our faces. but still lovely memories are created and kept.

going to batam tml! woohoo. two more extra days of no work for me. but the bad thing is i think i am going to be sick soon. cos i got a sore throat now. shit! hope it gets better by the time i sit on the ferry tml. i still want to enjoy all the nice nice food!

the truth is out now. i know it is hard for you but are we really still able to remain the same as before? time will tell everything. it has become more complicated..

Exploring science with yuzhen & alicia...

the body world exhibition was seriously an eye opener. got to see lots of stuff about our own body in so much details and got a much deeper understanding. how interesting. if you all have not went there yet. should go! it ends around march 2010. and the science centre reminds me of all the fun school excursions that i went when i was young. i love it!

on a side note, i got my first rose of my life on christmas! how sweet! :)

the logcake learning lesson that i attended last week!

my christmas eve was horrible. actually there was supposed to be a half day work. i ended up work until the usual time with additional ot. so i ended up i left my workplace at 7.15pm? but as a compensation i will get a bonus half day leave. still if can i rather leave early lo. but okay la something that happened while i was doing ot brightened up my day a little better. :) thanks. really appreciate it, it came as a surprise though!

woke up with stomach cramps just now. how am i supposed to enjoy myself later when i am in pain now. still the fun can overcome the pain!

i guess i am sinking deeper. it is not a good sign..

on a lighter note, i am going on a holiday soon! to batam! at last i can get away from the bustle city life and get a breather. if i work without having a holiday my brain will burst! damn excited although it is only two days but who cares, i am contented enough. so will be away from s'pore on the 28th and 29th dec.

towards the end of dec will be a so fun month! christmas exchange with pri sch friends, christmas picnic with TG, countdown chalet with TG, siew li's 20th birthday, batam trip with jiejie and january will be zf's 21st b'day! how fun with lots of activities. i love them all!

it's the end of the week tml. finally, feeling stressed at work lately. but i guess i will be able to get through it.

Seoul garden with lots of chatting and complaining...

was out with a friend for 风云 2 today. and i nearly fell asleep in the movie theatre. cos i totally couldn't understand what the movie was talking about and he had to explain to me each part what they were doing and who each character was. damn stupid la but at least my day today was quite nice.

next week will be the christmas exchange gift with poly friends and primary school friends. can't wait! all the good food and chatting is what i like the most. most importantly is the company that matters. with good company the place also doesn't matter to me.

i learnt something today. never judge people differently just because there are differences between you all. just treat them the same, they will feel as equally as happy as how you feel.

another week of working again. enjoyable yet tiring. till this moment i still don't have any feelings of hating my job, which is good. :D

Escape is a really a place to escape..

sometimes we cannot control what our mind is thinking. why are we thinking in this manner. but i guess we are just humans. our mind tend to think of stuff that don't even happen or even think of stuff that we are afraid might happen in the future. this is just something random on my mind.

meet siew li after work just now and we initially wanted to go to the bugis phoon huat shop to search for ideas for the christmas cookies and muffins but when we finished our dinner and walked there the shop was closed! damn sad. we only managed to bought white icing from cold storage. so stupid. travel so far for nothing. but at least i managed to meet her and had a short chat with her. :)

tml going malaysia with eileenyong. she better not ask me to carry all her shopping stuff if not she will be so dead! haha.

my umpteen time of laksa steamboat..

i was warned by my mom not to go eat anymore laksa steamboat. cos the other day i got a bad cough she deemed the steamboat as the cause of it. but i don't care cos it is nice and i wanna bring all the people around me to try it too. now i think i left my colleagues haven bring them to try yet only. shall discuss a date with them then maybe can go next year. hehe.

these few days couldn't get to sleep and eat well. maybe too stressed i think. but stressed over what i myself also not very sure. just the other day i only ate two slices of bread with a chicken patty for lunch at work. my colleagues said that there is something wrong with me cos normally i can finish one big packet of rice and still complain that i am hungry. maybe it is just these few days, my appetite will get better. i also dun like it this way, not much interest in food, even my favourite food also.

did some planning for christmas presents. wrote down a list yesterday. going to get those later. and i planned to do some muffins and cookies for my colleagues at work. and didn't realised that the number is quite a lot. luckily i took leave the day before so i can wake up damn early to prepare.

got a little headache now. so that's all for now.

a day without raw salmon...

a week has passed. and this week so many many things happened. mostly negative ones. so this week can be considered my unluckiest week. but let's hope that next week will be better. i don't want things to remain as it is like today. maybe if it goes back to its original way we will feel better too. not so heavy and burdensome to me. i wanted to try but can i dun be the one who makes the first move? i dun know how to..

bought this lotion to remove dead cells from my skin from etude house. i think its effect is not too bad cos i can feel that my skin is better a little bit from before. but i will try not to be lazy and diligently put all the essentials on my face.

and i need to look out for the weather forecast later cos i am going escape tml and it better dun rain!

i am mentally and physically tired now. need a good rest this weekend.

spices and lots of spices..

THAI FOOD!

i am getting forgetful. this is so bad. sometimes i even forgot what i need to do for work. i still need to constantly remind myself or ask my colleagues to remind me. just like today, my colleague asked me to wash some beakers that i used just now, i told her i will go collect my sample and then come back and wash. in the end when i collected my samples, i totally forgot about washing the beakers. save me! i hate this forgetfulness of mine!

oh for those TG members that don't know, manting will be starting work at my company next monday and her table will be right beside mine.

today a taw kua packer uncle said that i am someone who is very cheerful. it feels good to hear that! :) i am able to work with a cheerful mood everyday is because of those people who treats me well and make me laugh every single day at work. they really make my day start good which i like and i am able to speak in a straightforward and loud manner without being scared that they would feel offended.

nice people are all around if you disregard their nationality, the language they speak and the way they behave cos no one is perfect. i am not too but i am contented.

the christmas season is here again!

finally! the awaited long weekend is here! got to rest abit before i strive at work again. some complicated stuff happened at work this week again. let's pray that next week and the following weeks will be peaceful.

and talking about christmas all the delicious food and the gift exchange with my dear friends and family, i am extremely looking forward to it! i hate the shopping process but i love to see the expression on people's face when they receive something which they want unexpectedly! therefore let me think of some surprises. hehe.

i did something stupid yesterday. i was replying a chinese message online yesterday and i had to google every single chinese words and copy and paste to form the sentence that i wanted. how to type chinese using the laptop? is there a program for it?

not feeling happy today. heard some stuff on the issue that i am avoiding. i can't help it. it seems that i have a phobia whenever i think of it. i am lacking the confidence to do well. i am also disappointed with myself. i wanna give up but i can't. i know when i started i also have to end it. i just need time to think through. i dun wanna disappoint all of you too.

i feel that something is currently lacking in my life now. it feels a little empty. and i hardly find any encouragement around me. i need some positive motivation..

Sunny day at the beach

look what did ah qiao specially made for us. amanda and yanni got one too but they couldn't make it. spot the hello kitty (even though it is quite disfigured).

i would certainly want a picnic another time with all other members present. please help to fulfill my wish girls! :)

and yesterday was my appraisal review with boss. and she spent 2.5hours talking with me. more of her talking rather than me when it was supposed to be me who is doing the talking. but ended up i didn't know what to say. heard some stuff which i initially wanted to know but couldn't find out at first. nevertheless i still got an overall GOOD grade! for my first time appraisal i think it is quite good already! it was quite embarrassing when she was talking halfway and i felt like coughing. she had to pause and wait for me a while before continuing. this happened many times. but i am glad at last it is over!

finally went to see the doctor yesterday. at least today i feel so much better after eating the medicine. and i purposely took leave on monday. cough until like that i also feel difficult to work. so this week will be a long weekend for me. saturday, sunday plus monday.

but i guess i will miss going to work for one day! but tuesday will come very fast!

still coughing my lungs out today. especially after the fried chicken lunch + super rich chocolate cake at work today. should have avoided eating it today but no choice, today was colleague's birthday. can i have some miracle medicine which can help me wake up the next morning with no cough? haha. it's nonsense i know.

Jpot at vivo with grandma and jiejie was great! she ate alot and i was glad to see that she had a bigger appetite unlike last time but hope it will last long. if not i also can't bear to see her so thin and fragile. and she bought things from her favourite diaso again and some stuff from supermarket too. her two favourite places.

will i be able to survive through and think things in a positive manner? since yuting is no longer working there now. i sort of have to learn to be independent at work. i have to try and i believe i can just that it might take a little longer time.

i didn't wanna sound like i am confused. and i didn't want you all to teach me by repeating so many times. i know it needs a lot of patience. it is just that sometimes i have to listen and understand things a few more times before i really understand. i will try my best to learn things faster.

just coughed very loudly and got a stare from my feimei. how bad. gotta pack my stuff and get enough sleep for tomorrow's new challenge.

was coughing my lungs out at work today. yesterday i made cookies and brought to work for the production workers and my colleagues. glad that they enjoyed it. :) and everyone was laughing at me when i told them the reason why my left arm got two plaster on it. "tap card also can fall down, you very careless leh". hahaha. anyway have to admit that is just me accident prone and clumsy.

anyway tomorrow i am on half day leave! gonna have lunch with grandma and jiejie at Jpot again! can't wait! :D

Jie Jie's belated birthday lunch

i love these heartwarming meals with my family. seeing them enjoying the food while pausing for a short conversation with each other, nothing beats that. that's why to me i feel that my family is very important to me. be it eating at a more expensive place or just the normal dinner out on thursday at a hawker centre, i am still contented. seeing your parents grow older makes you wanna spend more time with them, hear them nag and talk. :)

and i think i am so accident prone. i keep on injuring myself. just thursday i knocked into a metal trolley inside the production and got a huge bump on my right thigh. and yesterday i was walking to tap my card off work also can slip and fall and i injured my right arms. now it has two ugly scars. how suay.

alot of stuff going on at work which are not that positive. especially that incident that happened on monday. it came as a shocking incident for me. for me it seems like it just happened yesterday. why is it so easy for people to do that and feel unaffected? i dun understand.

today is a saturday! at least i can keep away from the ugly sight at work and enjoy myself thorougly. :)

i still got two more days till the deadline of my appraisal and i haven even touched it yet. and there is also this 500 words justification for nominating one of your fellow colleague which i some how cannot managed to get so many words. sigh.

today i took half day leave from work to go rebond my hair. and i literally sat down inside the salon from 1.30pm to 5.45pm. fell asleep halfway and the auntie was grabbing my hair halfway then i suddenly woke up. i still brought a book to read to kill the time but in the end i read only like 5 pages? haha. anyway my hair now is so straight and nobody can laugh at my hair being "pong" on monday when i go to work liao. but it is too straight leh. a few more days it wouldn't look so bad i guess. hehe.

will be going malaysia shopping tomorrow! i love travelling!

and i just got the year end appraisal review form from my boss yesterday. got to fill in so much things again! just like three months ago i just ended my probation and filled in one. i guess i will get a big headache when i fill it in again and this time round the difficulty level is much higher. and the deadline is like just next monday, 2nd Nov!

my colleague who joined the company with me on the same day is leaving in another months time. my favourite chit chat buddy and working partner. i feel sad but since making this decision makes her happy, i respect her. after all i have said what i have to. anyway we still got a month left to work together before she leaves. so let's just be positive for now!

Benten Cafe

now that ah qiao works at boon lay too. i can easily find someone to eat dinner with when i dun feel like eating at home. haha! and that day was to do last minute preparation for amanda birthday too. and i love the benten desserts. it is sooo good and it can make you refresh after a long day of work.

this month will have to spend lesser abit. cos still got to pay for the laptop installment and also my new handphone and the bill too. but still okay la. just that i can't eat so much expensive food. but each month passes very fast when you are working.

and regarding the few issue that i faced recently. managed to solve like two. as for the other one. i dun pin anymore hope also. if that is what you really want, i wish you happy from my bottom of my heart too. i am still able to be cheerful and go to work happily. this sentence "friends come and go" is really accurate. i still have wonderful people around me who i really cherish and they cherishes me alot too. :)

woke up this morning with a headache and the headache is still here! i think it will be better when i catch some sleep later on. and tomorrow will be my treat for the family. out for famous steamboat at paya lebar to celebrate jiejie's belated birthday.

yummy prata

oct 9, went to this always packed roti prata shop @ jurong point with colleagues for dinner. it was yum yum. and quite cheap also. we bought 5 different pratas to share and it kept us so sastisfied and full! too bad the rest couldn't join us but never mind there is always another chance. :)

jie is back from taiwan and i got quite a number of stuff from her. hehe. 4 packets of pearls, a chinese storybook, tops, a bag, pineapple tart... and oh bought another mixer. i think this is the 3rd mixer already if i am not wrong. my mom keeps on making all the little parts of the mixer missing and i can't bake without one. i tried the other time making muffin for my colleagues with just the mixer bowl and a metal spoon. my hand nearly break. but at least they love my muffins!

amanda's birthday celebration at k box yesterday was fun! i sang lots of songs until i nearly got sore throat today. haha. but it was good. thanks for inviting us over and we really enjoyed it too. must use all the 20 present fruitfully cos we squeezed our brain juice to come up with all the items. glad that you like it! next year it will be the two of you all to come up with fantastic ideas for our 21st. i will be looking forward to it. it better be good. heh. :D

things are not going so smoothly these few days. the same thing is always happening. i feel sad. what should i do if in the end when i have tried my best but i don't get a positive outcome? i just want you all to understand. not to make things worse.

i am trying not to be so affected by all these issues. afterall "the best way to start a new day and to forget unhappy stuff that happened is to SMILE". my favourite sentence but is it really possible? i will try my best nevertheless. when you are happy the people around you will also be. this is what i definitely believe in.

Alicia's 20th

it was a late birthday celebration for her with us cos she is really busy! hard to find her out also. anyway we went for suki sushi student buffet. hehe. i am still 'considered' a student right? before meeting her meet yuzhen first and we went to find nice cakes for her at takashimaya. i always think it is very heartwarming and sweet to have cakes during birthday. we were so so full after eating so much. and went to catch "The Ugly Truth" at plaza singapura. it was a nice day catching up after the last meeting in july. :)she loves the presents and the cakes!
looking forward to our one-day malaysia trip on the 31st oct! :D

i feel like baking some muffins for my colleagues. let me see if my ingredients are still okay to be used after so long. it better be!

for once, blogger speed of uploading photo is fast! okay, back to the main point. i always upload my photos late so i also dun really remember when i ate this. went with jiejie. and we went to this place for nonya buffet inside NUS. it was quite cheap and not too bad but cannot eat alot also cos all is made up of carbohydrate!

My 5 days CSP course

every employee in the company have to attend this course by the singapore workforce. so each month my colleague in my department one by one went alone to attend this course. but lucky me, i got yuting to accompany me throughout the five days so it wasn't so bad after all. :) so basically this course is a service course which incalculates you to have positive attitude towards your colleagues and work. i think the course is quite fun cos you got to interact with people of different departments and other sub groups. so got to know a lot of people also. my batch is the last batch for the course already so we only have 11 people. the photos taken are of different days.

so every day of the course in the morning and in the afternoon, we will have a banquet. then each team will take turn to be the one serving and the rest of the people will be the customer. which means we have literally a lot of food to eat everyday. so for the 5 days i think my stomach expanded a lot! haha.

these few days seriously have been eating too much unhealthy and high calorie food! okay, thursday was the deep fried food day which boss suggested. which i ate until my whole stomach feels so oily. and yesterday was my company lantern festival buffet cum singing session. i went with 4 of my colleagues. and i think it was rather fun. seeing those production workers really high when they sing the songs and eating, it seems that everybody enjoyed themselves alot. i seriously think my company is very good at coming up with ideas for people to bond together. they have buffet and kebab and ice cream and durian mooncake. and also beer! which surprisingly i found myself drinking 2 cans yesterday. and uncle jimmy was like asking me why i drink.

uncle jimmy: you normally got drink beer one meh?

me: never leh, this time my first time.

uncle jimmy: oh you not in a good mood is it?

me: no la, drink for fun la.

actually i also dun noe how come i will drink yesterday. maybe because i see everyone so happily drinking so i joined in the fun or partly cos i was a little sad yesterday. and one of the production worker still say i am the only brave female QC who drinks so much. haha.

anyway today i spent $91! on a shirt for my dad, b'day present for alicia, a pair of new shoes for myself and dinner treat for my mom and me and a book from pageone!

korean cuisine

The other day after work went with jiejie to this super duper nice korean food place. and the shop is opened by real korean people. so the food is quite authentic. damn good. but it is slightly a little expensive but it is worthed it to eat it once in a while. i also wanna bring friends along to there. whenever i go anywhere for any nice food i also wanna bring u all along! so who likes korean cuisine can tell me hor!

and all these side dishes are free! it comes along with any dish that you order. somemore it is refill-able leh!

today i had a super full lunch and tea break at work. my boss wanted to celebrate children's day. haha. cos our department comprises only of people with age group of 20 to 31. so she considered us young. haha. anyway uncle jimmy and boss fried a lot of food (fishballs, seaweed chicken, cheese hotdog, onion rings, potato wedges, chicken wings). damn a lot can and we were sort of forced to finish all cos dun wanna waste food. and for tea time we had the super nice swensen's ice-cream. i think it sort of taste like mochi. i like. and it kept me so bloated and thirsty until the rest of the day. and it is all in courtesy of boss. :)

somehow, i think i matured alot these few days. i went through deep thoughts about various things. and sort of got better understanding of both the positive and negative side of things and i guess i also learnt how to handle things better. i think everyone will go through this stage, just that your time may not come so fast than others.

even though my life is simple but i am contented to be able to bring joy and happiness to the people around me. i am really contented. seeing my parents eat happily when i bring them out for a meal or give them a little pocket money. it makes me feel good and happy too. doing some small things for my friends and seeing them smile also make my day.

i guessed i have really grown up. and i like this part of me.

Friends come and go. The person who may be your best friend now may not be the next moment. It is hard to say and that is what makes it so sad that you don't even know your own mistake! You made me disappointed in you. Maybe one day i will just explode in front of you but for now i do not wish to.

tomorrow will be the 3rd day of the CSP course already. which means i can wake up another hour later and there will be plenty of eating at the course. cos they will teach you how to serve people by using real food in the morning and in the afternoon so every group will take turn to try. and the trainer tells us interesting stories too which makes me wanna listen attentively to her but on the other hand feel like sleeping too. haha cos sitting down doing nothing makes me start to day-dream. but just tell myself, it will be another 3 days to go before i complete the course!

my ankle is gradually recovering now and the pain has subsided. what is left now is only a little swollen. just a little swollen. and i stopped eating the medication already. so going to book for another driving test date since i think my leg is better now. imagine eating the medicine for so long how awful it is!

i haven been really really happy for a long time. how to be happy when no good things except the bad things are happening around me?

The other day went for laksa steamboat with them. and we ordered those cheap cheap ingredients so end up we were very full and each of us only paid 11 bucks. but it is quite ulu la the place have to take a bus in. good food are worthed the effort to travel. :)

my pet hamster just passed away. i didn't know until my mom told me just now in the morning. when i heard that i was so so sad that i started to cry. my hamster was with me for so long already another two more months it will be 2 years old already but it couldn't wait until that moment. the other day i saw it being very restless and it was quite big. i thought my mom feed a lot of food until it became fat. but perharps it is the signs of showing it to be bloated. i dun know. been crying for the whole morning until a while ago then i stopped. luckily i still got a photo of it with me that i took two years ago. rest in peace hamster.

i am not going to have any more pets anymore. they are cute and easy to look after. but once they die, i think the pain and sadness is hard for me to take it.

sorry girls for cancelling our laksa steamboat dinner date today, i am not really in the mood to go out. i will bring you all go next time. definitely i promise.

was at the IT fair with jiejie on thursday after work. my initial plan was to buy a memory card for my camera cos i don't have the big hard disc to store all my pictures in so i save it in the memory card by not deleting it. but! in the end i saw many laptops and decided to get one for myself since i am working now and i can afford to buy one. but i bought a rather cheaper one, the dell brand at $919. but it is through instalments so each month around 80 bucks. still okay for me.

yesterday had a fun dinner with my colleagues after my ot. uncle jimmy waited for me to end my ot since he didn't managed to catch the company bus and we walked together to meet the rest at jurong point. and we had din tai fung for dinner. actual plan was to have pizza hut cos we were like craving for it but there was a long queue and if we want we have to wait for an hour! but nevertheless it was still yumyum. and had super ultra nice ice cream at anderson's ice cream proudly sponsered by uncle jimmy! haha.

yesterday for my first time in my life, someone told me that i am actually a very nice person to talk to. how nice it is. i don't hear people saying this to me often so it actually makes me feel happy! seriously.

i almost spoilt my long office desk which i shared with yuting. haha! monday i was playing with joan and i accidentally sat on my table and i heard a crack sound. omg, am i so heavy? time to lose weight i guess. hahaha. and today my manager realised that the table is a little crooked and shaky so with the help of uncle jimmy and a maintenance staff they managed to fix it back. hehe. at least i dun need to compensate for a new one.

i think my colleagues are one bunch of nice people to work and hang out with. they can really make me laugh so much at work. everyday i am looking forward to work cos it is nice to work with people whom you are comfortable with. :)

after graduating and working now. i think life now is quite routine. monday to friday will be work. then the weekends will be meeting up with friends or spending time with the family. i want to find something new to do. so it doesn't get so boring. i really want to find a baking course to attend. something which is of my interest. at least the days will be more meaningful. if not it will be just like what yuting told me, she says she is quite bored that life is like almost filled with work and there is nothing much new maybe the only entertainment will be going out during the weekends.

yes, speaking of weekends and meeting up of friends. i think people should sometimes initiate the planning of meet up sessions instead of the same few people planning. do you all know how "vomit blood" it can be. if it's so easy try to be the organiser then! then you will really understand. just one sentence from you and just have to cancel the whole outing. other factors not taken into considerations, understand how other people will feel. the person who sends smses to everyone in the end still have to tell people that it is cancelled when everything in the first place is planned already so well. can't you think of other alternatives? sometimes i can see the hack-care attitude in you. it is disturbing to see that frequently. i may look like i am complaining alot but sometimes this is just the truth.

am i doing it the correct way? i hope so.

good food makes me happy

i think i have been snacking in the office too much that i got an ulcer in my mouth now! and it hurts when i was trying to eat one of my favourite chocolate. how sad. i think if i continue eating, it may lead to undesirable weight gain so monday not so much snacks already! and i think i ate too many days of oily lunch cos these few days i feel that my stomach not feeling very well also.

my blog seems to be pictureless for quite sometime. not that i didn't go out but i forgot to bring my camera when i go out. how forgetful of me! shall upload some when my computer is not so lack. my internet access is so slowwwwwwww. like a turtle.

got my pay recently. treated jieije to ajisen ramen yesterday and mummy to a chinese dim sum restaurant today. tommorow will be my favourite steamboat! yay!

and was shopping today after work to search for one black pants for my CSP course starting on the 18th of september but either the pants i didn't like the design or it is too short. when it is too short for me it looks quite funny on me. so maybe try searching it at other place tommorow.

i wanna sleep soon. damn tired!

i feel bad about it and i regret it. sorry. really.

just came back from the clinic, went for ultrasound for my ankle. and i dun think it is really good. cos the doctor did mention a little about tearing my ligament inside which probably will means that i may have to do a mini surgery if necessary. so have to hear from the doctor after he analyse the pictures from the ultrasound. and it is so expensive can. $169 for the scanning?!

i am feeling upset, tired and moody. my leg doesn't seems to get better on the external except maybe for the pain that has largely reduced a lot. but the swelling is still there and it doesn't get better. i have to cancel my driving practical test in september and postpone to another day. but i dun even noe when cos i dun even know when my ankle will recover. it has been one month and one week already.

i am having a fever now also. feeling sick all over. it seems like everything is all messed up. so messed up.

and towards what i said you seems to have a lot of comments. it looks like you are already unhappy towards me for a long time and you didn't mention it out. i dun noe.. maybe you might be thinking i am troubling over nothing much but the issue now is not the money. but is the stress that i get over the money. cos you don't understand my family. i don't wish to say much already.

i need some sleep. i am feeling terrible with the fever all over me plus the ankle pain.

sometimes it is hard to really find a friend who understands you well. you may have alot of fun, joy and alot of laughter together now. but when it comes to problems that you face and you confide in them but they hardly give you any advice or just say out their opinion without considering about your feeling and considering the situation you are in. it makes you real disappointed cos you will think that person will know what you are trying to say and make you feel better in a way. but it doesn't seem so.

but at least i know who to confide to when i want. that person will definitely understand what i am trying to say. i know she will.

i think true friends should be able to share the happiness and unhappiness of each other. not just the happy side.

on a lighter note, had tom yam steamboat for lunch at work today! joan bought prawns, crabstick, hot dogs, kai lan, sotong balls, fishballs and i bought button mushroom and the tom yam cubes. and joan's mom told us each to pay $1! plus mine was $0.50 each. so we had a very hearty and delicious meal at $1.50. hehe. was so fun. i love eating steamboats with nice people.

after work just now went to see the doctor again. told him that the swelling for my leg hasn't reduced. and he gave me somemore medicine and advised me to go for a ultrasound to see if my tendon at my ankle is broken. if worst come to worst have to do a mini surgery. hope it will be fine. so going on saturday and it is not cheap k! sigh.

tomorrow will be so fun! boardgames and yummy food at Decoder Cafe!

slow speed

it all happened because of the last trip to the jurong bird park almost a month ago. A month already! can you imagine i have been walking so slow like a tortoise everyday for a month. cos if i walk very fast or run then the pain comes. sometimes it is bearable sometimes it is not. when it comes to the maximum threshold of my pain, it makes me just feel like crying. and everyday i have to wake up much more early so that i can catch the bus to work. if the bus goes, i have to WALK a distance of 20 to 25 minutes before i can reach my company in order not to be late.

of course i have experiences of missing the bus so no choice i just have to literally drag my foot and walk there. and my job includes having to walk alot and stand alot so my leg is having not much of a rest also. yesterday i went this clinic near my house. it is a newly opened one i guess. the doctor i must say is very good. he massaged my leg and found out that my tendons inside my leg are stretched when i sprained my leg so i can feel the pain whenever i walk. and somemore it is even cheaper than the chinese doctor which i went to (which was literally not effective at all!). so i got painkillers and pills for inflammation and plasters to treat the problem. hopefully it works la.

last monday was at bugis after work and caught "up" with zhifeng, ah qiao and yanni. i love the movie. it was very sweet seeing how much the old man in the movie loved his wife by helping her to fufill her life long dream even until after she passed away. quite touching.

and have been meeting amanda for dinner twice since she started school. dear tg members, please go encourage her to eat and sleep. cos the two times that i see her, dinner sometimes is the only meal that she eat out of the day and she seems to be getting thinner and i can feel that she is so stressed up by school. it is very worrying to see that and yet we can't do nothing much but just to encourage her. so just call her sometimes to let her know that we didn't isolate her and give her some motivation!

Malaysia shopping trip

their ice cream cone is only RM$1 and they have the 2 piece chicken meal which we don't have it here. wanted to tabao it back initially but when it was sold out when i wanted to buy it!

and saw jiejie with her friend there too.

and i bought mini j.co donuts. the bite sized type. you eat one, you will be craving for the next one and eventually you will finish it before you knowing it. it goes for me la. haha.

watched "where got ghost?" yesterday. not too bad cos it wasn't that frightening except for one or two parts which made me cover with my cardigan. hahaha. and i like the last story out of the three cos it is the most meaningful. not those typical scare you only story.

i keep on buying shoes i think. last sat i bought one covered shoes at west mall, sunday bought one open toe shoes at malaysia and yesterday i bought one slipper at west mall again. heheh. it is very nice to be able to choose what shoes you wanna wear out everyday. somemore my ankle these few days haven't recover and my colleagues advise me to wear slippers instead of covered shoes so i bought one with white bling blings!

tomorrow after work will be watching "UP" with TG!

These three days of long weekend were so good. went bugis shopping with TG excluding amanda who was not free. caught GI-Joe movie with mummy. went to malaysia city square for shopping with eileen and edvan. went for driving lesson. went for fantastic frog leg porridge at outram park with daddy and mummy. i love how my days are packed with activities. hehe. was supposed to bring granny out later for some shopping and dinner but she went to play majong instead of meeting us. so will be having dinner with the family outside instead.

will upload some photos that i took at malaysia next time. the shopping centre near the custom is so easy to get there. and the pizza hut there is damn cheap la! $27.75 for 3 person share of food(pizza, spaghetti, chicken wing, soups and baked rice!). and i bought many many hair bands! hehe. all my favourites! shall go there next time again. i think this month i spent quite a lot of money already.

the other day went with colleagues to this steamboat buffet near paya lebar. the name is called Tian Fu steamboat. it is a hong kong traditional style of steamboat buffet. the ingredients are really really very fresh. and they have this noodle which is made from fish. and when u cook it in the soup, it is chewy and damn good! around 23 bucks per person after all the service charge and gst which i think is quite worthed it. cos the company sponsered each employee $50 for teambonding. so we have another 27 bucks left for each person. going to go to a boardgame cafe this month to finish up the whole sum of money that we are given. it will be more fun cos there is food and games! hehe.

my last visit was like don't know how long ago. so it's fun to come after so long. plus mom got discounted price tickets. only 7 bucks!

i remembered i had a photo taken at this spot when i was young. it is still exactly the same!

look! they show case so many diffferent size and colours of feathers. so pretty!

Yuzhen's 20th birthday

bought her a cake from breadtalk. actually thought of ordering it but either of us got the time to go order. but the cake bought from breadtalk was nice anyway! and she love it. but couldn't make it a suprised one cos it was hard to plan with only two of us and i had no hands to light the candle and appear behind her. but it was still good la i guess.

had lunch at long john silver first then we blew the cake there and off we went to sentosa for the main highlight of the day!

and we went to play the sentosa 4D magix games. but this was quite expensive la. two games for 20 bucks. lazy to describe the games. but i think the extreme wildlog was pretty exciting. i kept on screaming! but the two of them still so calm huh. haha.

i got my confirmation letter earlier than the stated 3 months! woohoo. i am a confirmed staff as of today! :)

how can my luck be so "good" that i sprained my leg!

here i am with a sprained leg, sitting in front of the laptop figuring out how come my blogger does not allows me to upload photos. where is the upload icon huh? it like disappeared for quite some time already! and i have tons of photos that i wanna put lo!

and my ankle hurts so much that i cannot imagine how i am going to walk to work tommorrow morning. i shall bear with the pain and leave the house earlier so that i will not be late.

there goes my excitedly taiwan trip in october cos i suddenly remembered that amanda's 21st is also during the period if i were to go with jiejie and charlotte. it is quite a pity la but a good friend's 21st b'day is only once in a lifetime. shall forgo my taiwan trip and go there maybe next year ba.

i bought lots of junk food which i am going to excitedly bring to work and share with my colleagues. there should always be food for me just in case i get the "mouth itchy" feeling or even to the extend of feeling hungry before lunchtime. hehe.

okay, got to prepare for my stuff for work tommorow. shall find out what is the problem with the blogger and post my photos next time.

and i am going to use the twin bag that zhifeng and i had bought on saturday for work tommorow!

Ice Age 3!

caught ice age 3 with ah qiao after work on monday. was tired and felt like sleeping in the cinema but it was so cuteeeeeeeeeee and quite funny that made me awake. even though i didn't watch part 1 and 2, i liked part 3 instantly. especially the two of them always snatching the walnut from each other. so funny.

i just dyed my hair again just now with the help of mom. but i think her skills not very goood cos i still see some strands of black hair when the hair dye i bought is supposed to be brown! well but at least it is better than being totally black. somehow black hair makes me look kind of fierce and dull. hehe.

will upload other photos another time. going to catch harry potter movie later!

feeling moody. work today wasn't smooth. i can't wait for the weekends where i can sleep sleep sleep. i will get over it and when i wake up tomorrow morning i will still be the same old me, happy go lucky.
